My Role:
My role was to design and implement the floral arrangements for the wedding ceremony of a Brazilian couple named Eid and Willian, which was to take place in Astoria, Queens.
Final Product:
In order to satisfy both the bride and groom's floral requests, I chose sunflowers, red and yellow roses, baby breath, and red carnations. I ordered and transported all the floral materials required to create the centerpiece to the church. In a display of my adaptability and resourcefulness I used the left over materials to cover floral pieces for all the pews.
Challenges:
The groom requested fall flowers as the wedding was going to take place in September. However, the bride did not want many greens in the floral arrangements. In addition, the wedding ceremony would be taking place in a large church.
